The BBC have signed up former England captain Sir Alastair Cook to provide analysis of England’s 2019 tour of the West Indies.
England’s highest Test run-scorer, who was knighted in the 2019 New Year’s Honours list, bowed out of Test cricket with an emotional century at the Oval in in September, which was named in Wisden’s top-five Test innings of the year.
The Essex opener, who will work alongside cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew, will start the role from the second Test on January 31.

The first Test between West Indies and England starts on 23 January at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
