Scotland will host New Zealand for an ODI and T20I in June next year, with Australia also set to visit in the same month for a one-off T20I.

New Zealand were originally planning to play just an ODI but will now play two fixtures. The T20I will take place on June 10, with the ODI to follow two days later.

Australia, who will play England in three ODIs and three T20Is in July, will play their solitary T20I against Scotland on June 29.

Shane Burger, Scotland’s head coach, said: “The opportunity to play against two of the best teams in the world is an exciting prospect. We have beaten teams of this calibre previously and we will be looking to push them all the way on all occasions.
