Defending champions Halar Heroes will kick off the third edition of the Saurashtra Premier League tomorrow (August 23) with a game against Gohilwad Gladiators in a repeat of the final of the previous edition, at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Ground in Rajkot.
The five-team tournament will consist of a total of 11 games played across nine days from August 23 to August 31. Each team will play each other twice in a double round-robin league stage, followed by a final between the top two sides on August 31. All games will be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Ground in Rajkot.

The five teams include Halar Heroes, Gohliwad Gladiators, Kutch Warriors, Sorath Lions, and Zalawad Royals. Several stalwarts of Saurashtra cricket will be seen in action in the tournament, alongside up-and-coming youngsters from the region.
Dharmendrasinh Jadeja and Samarth Vyas will play for the Kutch Warriors. Sheldon Jackson and Chetan Sakaraiya will appear for the Zalawad Royals. Prerak Mankad will be seen in action for the Gohliwad Gladiators, while Chirag Jani will play for the Sorath Lions.
Saurashtra Premier League 2023 Where to watch: TV channels, live streaming and match timings
All but two matches out of the 11 will start at 7 pm local time. The two matches which won’t, will be afternoon games on doubleheader days: Gohilwad Gladiators taking on Sorath Lions on August 25, and Kutch Warriors taking on Zalawad Royals on August 26. They will start at 3 pm local time.
All eleven matches of the Saurashtra Premier League will be live-streamed on the JioCinemaapp and website.
