Yorkshire CCC’s new branded flatcap range have caught many an eye, including those of Sachin Tendulkar, the most valued of them all.

The Leeds-based club announced their new range of headwear with a modelling shoot involving legspinner Josh Poysden, and stocks flew off the shelves, with an initial batch selling out on the day of release.

Former Yorkshire captain Michael Vaughan confirmed himself a fan, before the Little Master himself demonstrated his desire. “This is fantastic,” he tweeted. “I want one too!”

The man with more international runs than any other is no stranger with an undomed chapeau, having donned a cap and raised a pint of Tetley’s Bitter to celebrate the start with his stint as Yorkshire’s first overseas player in 1992.

The new garments are arguably a more considered fashion statement than the chequered option worn by Tendulkar previously however.
