South Africa A and Sri Lanka A will contest the red-ball leg of their ongoing series starting tomorrow (September 8), in Kimberley. Here are the full squad lists for the series, as well as the schedule.
Neil Brand will lead South Africa A's squad, after Kyle Verreynne led the side in the 50-over series. The home side's squad also includes David Beddingham, who was part of South Africa's senior side for their recent tour of the West Indies, in which he returned a top score of 29 from three innings. Dewald Brevis has also been included in the red-ball group, as well as Migael Pretorius and Matthew Breetzke.
The Sri Lanka A side will be led by Pasindu Sooriyabandara, who also filled in as captain during the team's red-ball win over Afghanistan A side earlier this year. He scored a double-century in the NSL 4-day competition in Sri Lanka in April of this year.
Sooriyabandara also led Sri Lanka A to victory in the one-day series which preceded the red-ball matches. The first of those red-ball matches will take place in Kimberley from September 8 to September 11, while the second will being on September 15 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.
