In his short career thus far, Rishabh Pant has given ample evidence of his batting talent, but Rohit Sharma hilariously reminded him that the youngster’s skills are yet no match to the experienced Rohit’s six-hitting prowess.

Rohit dialled up his India and Mumbai Indians teammate Jasprit Bumrah for an Instagram connect on Wednesday, speaking about a range of topics as the players spent time in self-isolation in their respective homes.
During the session, Bumrah mentioned that Rishabh Pant wants to take on Rohit Sharma in a six-hitting challenge, to see who hit can hit the ball the farthest between the two.

To that, Rohit nonchalantly replied in Hindi, which translates to: “He wants to compete with me, is it? It’s not even been a year since he’s been playing cricket, and he wants to give me competition!”

Mumbai Indians couldn’t hold back on the fun, tweeting the video of their captain’s savage reply with a ‘thug life’ edit at the end.
Rohit has hit the most international sixes by an Indian player [423], his tally standing at third overall. Looking at Rohit’s track record, and his brutal reply, Pant might surely have to look elsewhere for a challenge!
