A total of six teams will take part in the tournament: Balochistan, Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern, Sindh, and Southern Punjab. While Balochistan will be led by Yasir Shah, Azhar Ali will captain Central Punjab. Khalid Usman (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Umar Amin (Northern), Sarfaraz Ahmed (Sindh) and Hasan Ali (Southern Punjab) are the other captains in this year’s Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Each team will play the other twice in the group stages. All games will be played at five venues: Abbottabad Cricket Stadium, Iqbal Stadium, Pindi Cricket Stadium, Gaddafi Stadium, and Multan Cricket Stadium. There will be a total of 31 matches played, including the final.

The final of the competition will be played from November 26 till November 30.
