With the PSL Draft 2020 scheduled to begin this Friday, here is all the key information you need to know, including the 53 English players who could be picked up in the draft.
PSL Draft 2020 date and time
The fifth edition of the PSL draft will be held on December 6. As per the retention players list announced on Sunday, December 1, the six teams have retained a total of 45 players from the previous season.
How does the Draft work?
Each franchise has a $1.1million salary cap. In the squads of 18, each side can pick three Platinum, three Diamond, three Gold, five Silver & two Emerging players per team. Franchises can have two supplementary players.
Rounds in the PSL Draft:
First round: Platinum Players
Second round: Diamond Players
Third round: Gold Players
Fourth & fifth rounds: Silver Players
Sixth & seventh rounds: Emerging Players
Next four rounds: Supplementary Players
PSL Draft 2020 pick order
Defending champions and two-time runners-up Quetta Gladiators will get the chance to pick up a player first in the opening round of the PSL 2020 Draft, followed by Lahore Qalandars. The order for the remaining four teams is: Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings.
