The tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League will be held between April 8 and May 19. The much-awaited PSL draft will finalise the squads of the six participating teams.
This year the venue for the event has seen a last-minute change due to logistical issues. Initially planned in the port city of Gwadar in Pakistan’s largest province Balochistan, the PSL 2025 draft will now take place at Huzoori Bagh in Lahore from 12:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
The PCB announced the pick order for the player draft of the 10 edition of the tournament. Two-time champions Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the platinum category followed by Karachi Kings. 2019 title winners Quetta Gladiators will make the third pick, while Peshawar Zalmi will have the fourth.
Defending runners-up, Multan Sultans, and champions Islamabad United will make the fifth and sixth picks, respectively.

The initial Platinum category list includes many renowned international names, such as David Warner, Chris Lynn, Usman Khawaja, Matthew Short, Kane Williamson and Tim Southee. Emerging talent Cooper Connolly, who earned his maiden call-up in Australia’s Test squad for their Sri Lanka tour, also features in the Platinum ranks.
