The match will be the first Pink Day to have both teams go pink
England and South Africa will both wear one-off pink kits for their third ODI clash in Johannesburg on Sunday.
The fixture is the ninth edition of Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) annual Pink Day fundraising match, but will be the first time both teams wear pink after England also pledged their support.
As has been done over the last two years, proceeds from Pink Day – which each year aims to raise awareness of breast cancer – will go towards the Breast Care Unit at the Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital in Johannesburg.
Last year’s Pink Day fixture against Pakistan – the only occasion South Africa have lost an ODI wearing a pink kit – raised more than one million rand (around £52,000).

England’s limited edition New Balance jersey will be an adapted version of their current ODI kit – in which they won the World Cup last July – featuring pink collars, cuffs and stripes across the shoulders.
England Test captain Joe Root said: “It’s going to be a huge honour for us as a team to take part in the Pink Day celebrations this year.
“Every year we see the great work Pink Day does in raising money for brilliant causes and it will be great to see both sides stepping out in special New Balance kits on the day.
