Pakistan have announced squads for their tour of Australia and Zimbabwe, while also revealing that a new white-ball captain will be announced later today.
Pakistan senior players Babar Azam, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who weren't part of the last two Tests against England, have been rested for the Zimbabwe tour. Mohammad Rizwan, who is part of the Australia tour and Zimbabwe ODIs, has been named in the T20I squad.
The PCB announced that a new white-ball captain will be revealed at a media conference on Sunday at 3.30pm Pakistan time, roughly two hours from the squad announcement. Earlier today, PCB also announced the central contracts for the 2024/25 season.
