Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad is to be charged after failing a doping test in June, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced.
The 26-year-old, whose name has only just been released, played in his country’s 2-0 T20I series victory in Scotland last month.

Since making his Test bow in 2013, Shehzad has scored 982 runs in 13 games. He also has 2,605 runs from 81 ODIs and 1,454 runs from 57 T20I matches.
The PCB made the announcement on social media, stating it had received the report from the Independent Review Board on Tuesday.
“Cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has tested positive for a banned substance. PCB will issue charge sheet today,” the statement read.
