The One World Family Cup 2025 will take place on February 8 at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, Sathya Sai Grama, 9am (IST). Here are the full squads for the match.
India One World take on Sri Lanka One Family, is a 20 over match which fields former players of both nations against each other. The match has been organised by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission, with funds being raised for humanitarian initiatives for services in nutrition, education and healthcare.
Supporters can purchase tickets for the match via the missions website, or they can subscribe to the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission YouTube channel to watch a live stream of the game. The competition was formed in 2024 and also took place in Sathya Sai Grama, bringing together players from various nations to highlight the Indian ethos, vasudhaiva kutumbakam, ‘one world one family.’
Last year’s match featured players from seven different countries including Sachin Tendulkar, Monty Panesar, Danny Morrison, Alok Kapali, Jason Krejza, Muttiah Muralitharan and Makhaya Ntini. This year, The likes of Irfan Pathan and Stuart Binny will be representing the home side, while all time leading test wicket taker of all time, Muttiah Muralitharan features in the Sri Lankan team.
Piyush Chawla is also set to play for Team India, alongside Stuart Binny, while Aravinda de Silva and Marvan Atapattu will step out for the Sri Lanka side.
