New Zealand will take on South Africa in a two-match Test series beginning February 17, 2022 – here’s the complete schedule and list of fixtures, along with where to watch TV and live streaming details of the NZ vs SA Tests.

The two teams will face each other in two Tests, both to be played in Christchurch. For South Africa, Keegan Petersen, who was recently named ICC’s player of the month in January, will be a notable absentee, having tested positive for Covid-19.

New Zealand have a spate of absentees: Ross Taylor is retired, Kane Williamson is out due to a shoulder injury and Trent Boult is on paternity leave. Matt Henry will be replacing Boult in the XI. The coach, Gary Stead, has confirmed the top five to be: Tom Latham, Will Young, Devon Conway, Henry Nicholls and Daryl Mitchell. Latham will be leading the side.

For South Africa, long-time domestic performer Sarel Erwee will be replacing the unavailable Petersen at No.3. Rassie van der Dussen noted that the pitch is green and “very grassy”.
