When will the Nepal Premier League 2024 be played?

The inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League will be played between November 30 and December 21 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The competition has replaced the Nepal T20 League, which took place in 2022-23.

Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers and Sudurpaschim Royals are the eight participating sides.

What's the format of NPL 2024?

A total of 32 matches will be played, including the playoffs. Each team will play against the other seven once in a single round-robin format during the league stage until December 16.

The third and the fourth-placed sides will play the Eliminator on December 18, while the first and the second-placed sides will play Qualifier 1 on December 18.

Like the IPL, the winners of Qualifier 1 will reach the final while the losers will get another shot in Qualifier 2, to be played against the winners of Eliminator on December 19. The final is on December 21 between winners of Qualifier 1 and 2.

What are the match timings for NPL 2024?

The first match between Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Bolts will start at 12:15 pm local time. Thereafter there are double-headers every day between December 2 and 15, with the first match starting at 9:15 am local time and the second at 1:15 pm local time.

The last league fixture between Sudurpaschim Royals and Karnali Yakson on December 16 will start at 9:15 am local time.

Eliminator will start at 9:15 am local time, while Qualifier at 1:15 pm local time. Qualifier 2 and the final will be played from 12:15 pm local time.
