Mohammad Amir and Haris Sohail have withdrawn themselves from Pakistan’s upcoming tour of England, the PCB has said.
Pakistan are to visit England for three Tests and three T20Is in August and September, with 28 players and 14 backroom staff set to make the trip.
Left-arm quick Amir – who is only available in limited-overs cricket due to his retirement from Test cricket – has pulled out so he can be present for the birth of his second child in August, while the PCB stated that batsman Haris would miss the tour for “family reasons”.
The PCB said it will announce the squads and its schedule for the series in due course.
