Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024: Team news and squads
A total of eight teams are participating in this year's tournament, with 'A' teams from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka being joined by the national teams of Hong Kong, Oman and United Arab Emirates.
The Indian squad features several players who have performed well in the IPL – the side is led by Tilak Varma and features Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Vaibhav Arora and more. The 'A' teams are all fairly young, and a few to watch out for are Pakistans' Sufiyan Muqeem and Arafat Minhas, Sri Lanka's Pavan Rathnayake and Dinura Kalupahana, and Afghanistan's Sediqullah Atal and Nangeyalia Kharote.
Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024: When will the matches start?
The matches are all taking place at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman. There are two matches per day from October 18-25, with the final on October 26.
The first match of the day begins at 1:00 PM local time, and the second at 5:30 PM local time.
