Mark Wood was back in his full England ODI kit – helmet, pads and the lot – probably for the first time since the World Cup final, but he wasn’t readying himself for a round of indoor nets.
Wood’s social media handles have been abuzz with his attempts at several online challenges, including the push-ups challenge in which he managed to beat Ben Stokes. The latest was in response to teammate Jonny Bairstow’s nomination for the #FullKitChallenge, where the participant has to perform a task at home while fully kitted up.

Bairstow’s video featured him mowing his garden while wearing his Test whites, with the popular Pharrell Williams number Happy playing in the background.

Wood dutifully fulfilled the nomination, and managed to do so without going outside, instead opting to change his baby son’s nappy, while wearing his full kit, including his gloves and arm guard!
With Queen’s We Are The Champions playing in the background, Wood easily managed to complete the task. In turn, he nominated England Test skipper Joe Root, James Anderson and Darren Gough.
