India captain Virat Kohli hilariously teased Cheteshwar Pujara on Tuesday, taking a light-hearted dig at the latter’s agility in the field.
Kohli shared a picture of himself airborne, taking an impressive one-handed catch even at second slip, even as first slip Pujara watched on. “First session after lockdown be like,” was how Kohli captioned the post, adding: “I hope you will go for the ball pujji.”
Mohammad Shami, the pacer, was quick to get in on it, saying: “No chance hahahahahaha”. Even Kevin Pietersen got in on it, saying it was fake news: “You couldn’t catch a cold in the winter!” he said.

Pujara, for his part, took it all sportingly, and even managed a commendable dig back on Kohli. “Yes captain, and I shall catch it with both hands,” he said.

Kohli, and indeed most of the cricket world presumably, is seemingly champing at the bit for the sport to resume, given mainstream cricket has been on hold since Mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As to when cricket will return, the answer remains uncertain.
