Cricketers have spent their time in a wide variety of ways during self-isolation, from learning new skills to rediscovering old hobbies, but India captain Virat Kohli took it to another level, having a haircut with kitchen scissors.
It was, in all likelihood, a new experience for Kohli. For one, the person doing the chopping was Kohli’s wife, actor Anushka Sharma, and the tool used were kitchen scissors, which one would assume wouldn’t be used for kitchen purposes after this, seeing as how that doesn’t really tie in with sanitation requirements in normal times, let alone at a time like this.

Anushka put up the video on Twitter, captioning it: “Meanwhile, in quarantine.”
“This is what quarantine does to you,” Kohli said in the video, “you allow things like these to happen, getting a haircut with the kitchen scissors. Beautiful haircut, by my wife.”
India is currently in the middle of a 21-day lockdown period, which has seen a spike in social media activity. Kohli, who is among the most followed Indians on the social media platform, had earlier also appeared alongside Anushka to urge the country’s people to stay united and remain indoors.
