Beckenham CC of the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League produced a batting disaster-class as Bexley CC bowled them out for a measly 18 runs.
The innings was surely one of the most disappointing batting performances in the history of club cricket. Alexander Senn, William MacVicar and Callum Lennox each scored four runs, while five batsmen failed to trouble the scorers.

The innings, which lasted just 49 minutes, produced the lowest ever total scored by Beckenham since their founding 152 years ago.
Calum MacLeod, a hero of the Scotland team which shocked England in June earlier this year, picked up 6-5 during Bexley’s bowling onslaught. Jason Benn was responsible for the remaining four wickets with tidy figures of 4-12.

Once the devastation was over, Bexley were uninterested in hanging around. Christopher Laas and Aiden Giggs took just 12 minutes (3.3 overs) to complete the run chase. It was ultimately a day to forget for Beckenham CC.
In 2014, Wirral CC were bowled out for three, with only one batsman ‘ducking’ a duck. It could be worse, Beckenham CC.
