The Indian state team of Karnataka will tour Namibia for five 50-over matches in June 2023. The five matches will be played on June 2, 4, 7, 9, and 11, from 9.30 AM local time, at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
Namibia will be without David Wiese and Ruben Trumpelmann, but there will be big names like captain like Gerhardus Erasmus, who will lead the side, Zane Green, Stephan Baard, Bernard Scholtz, Michael van Lingen, Jan Frylinck, and Pikky Ya France.

Karnataka, on the other hand, will feature both senior and Under-19 cricketers. Fast bowler Vijaykumar Vyshak played seven times for RCB in IPL 2023, picking up nine wickets. None of his wickets of the season – David Warner, Axar Patel, Lalit Yadav, Ambati Rayudu, Jason Roy, N Jagadeesan, Suryakumar Yadav, Tim David, and Vijay Shankar – was of a rank tail-ender. He also finished as Karnataka’s leading wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy.
Other notable inclusions are Vidwath Kaverappa, Karnataka’s leading wicket-taker in last year’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (bought by PBKS this season); and Nikin Jose and R Samarth, their two leading run-scorers in last year’s Vijay Hazare Trophy.
