Joe Denly has left England’s Test bubble at Emirates Old Trafford and is to join the white-ball training group preparing at the Ageas Bowl for the upcoming ODI series against Ireland.

Denly was dropped by England after their four-wicket defeat to West Indies in the first Test of the ongoing three-match series after returning scores of 18 and 29.

The 34-year-old, who holds an England white-ball contract, will join up with the white-ball training group on July 27, with the first of three ODIs against Ireland beginning on July 30.

Dan Lawrence, Craig Overton, Ollie Robinson and Olly Stone have also left England’s bio-secure bubble in Manchester and are now available to return to training with their counties.
