Hotly tipped Worcestershire batsman Joe Clarke has become the latest player to join Nottinghamshire, after signing a four-year deal.
The 22-year-old recently helped Worcestershire to the Vitality Blast T20 title and has been earmarked as a future England Test player.
Worcestershire CEO Matt Rawnsley said: “We’re disappointed that Joe will be leaving us, but I’m very confident that we did everything that we could to retain him.
Clarke will make his final appearance for Worcestershire in the Specsavers County Championship match against Yorkshire at Blackfinch New Road beginning on Monday.
He joins Ben Slater, Ben Duckett and Zak Chappell in recently signing deals with Nottinghamshire for next season.
