Keaton Jennings and Mark Wood have both been included in England’s 12-man squad for the third Test against the West Indies, set to begin on Saturday in St Lucia.
Ben Foakes, Chris Woakes and Jack Leach are all missing, with England trailing 2-0 in the series.
Jennings’ inclusion comes after he was dropped from the side for the second Test in Antigua. The opening batsman averages 25.86 from 16 Tests, and has two centuries to his name. His 146 against Sri Lanka in Galle last November came after a disappointing summer in which he averaged 19.20 from six Tests. Since his century in Galle, his highest score across six innings has been 26.

Wood is included in the 12-man squad having been called up to the tour after Olly Stone was ruled out of the series with a back injury. His last Test appearance came in England’s nine-wicket defeat to Pakistan at Lord’s last May.
