When will the IND v WI women's T20Is be played?
The first T20I will be played on Sunday (December 15) followed by the second on Tuesday (December 17) and the third on Thursday (December 19). Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai will host all the three T20Is. All matches are set to start at 7:00 pm IST. The series will be followed by three ODIs between the two sides, starting December 22.
What's the latest team news for IND-W v WI-W T20Is?
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead India with veterans Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Renuka Thakur and Deepti Sharma in their ranks. Yastika Bhatia, Shreyanka Patil and Priya Punia all are unavailable due to injury concerns. Shafali Verma, dropped from the preceding Australia ODI tour, has been axed from the T20I outfit as well.
West Indies have retained the majority of the squad from their recent T20 World Cup campaign with Hayley Matthews as their captain. All-rounder Stafanie Taylor is out due to a knee injury sustained during the tournament. Pacer Shabika Gajnabi and wicketkeeper-batter Rashada Williams have returned to the T20I setup having missed the T20 World Cup.
