India will host South Africa women for a multi-format series this month, with all three formats part of the tour. Here are the full squad lists for the series.
A four-day Test match between the two countries is scheduled for Chennai from June 28 to July 1. It will be South Africa's third women’s Test match in the last two years, after they lost to Australia in their most recent red-ball game. India beat England and Australia in Test matches late last year.
The series will kick off this weekend on June 16 with the ODI series in Bangalore, before the series then moves to Chennai for the Test match. The T20Is will also be played in Chennai.
Jemimah Rodrigues and Pooja Vatrakar have been included in all three Indian squads subject to meeting fitness requirements. While Rodrigues missed India's series in Bangladesh in April with a back injury, the nature and extent of Vastrakar's injury is not known. They have also included uncapped wicketkeeper Uma Chetry in place of Yastika Bhatia, who was injured during the Bangladesh series. Priya Punia has also earned a call-up for the Test side alongside Arundhati Reddy.
South Africa opening batter Tazmin Brits is back after recovering from a back injury, while Nondumiso Shangase has been recalled to the squad.
