At least one global white-ball event has been scheduled each year until 2031 and here’s the full ICC cricket calendar of the next World Cups.

At least one global white-ball event has been scheduled each year until 2031 - Here’s the full ICC future cricket calendar, with details of the host countries and the full schedule of the next few World Cups.

A minimum of 11 ICC events, including eight World Cups, across men’s and women’s cricket, will be held in the next seven years, from 2024 to 2031. As many as three World Cups, three editions of the Champions Trophy (one women’s), and five T20 World Cups have been scheduled.

For the upcoming cycle, the ICC have aimed at making the sport more global. England, India, and Australia hosted a majority of the ICC events between 2017 and 2023, which will see a drastic change in the next seven years.

The ICC has also brought back the Champions Trophy, which was last played in 2017 when Pakistan beat India in the finals. Pakistan will host the 2025 edition, which will also be the first time in nearly three decades that the country will host a world event. The last time Pakistan hosted an ICC event was the World Cup in 1996.

The ICC has also introduced a women’s T20 Champions Trophy, the first of which will be held in Sri Lanka in 2027.

Recognising that India remains its key commercial driver, the ICC has allotted four World Cups to the country between 2025 and 2031, beginning with the women’s World Cup next year.

Aside from the white-ball World Cups, there will also be a World Test Championship, with the finals held every two years.
