The 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to be played in Bangladesh. Two of the ten teams at the World Cup will make their way through the Global Qualifier, a ten-team tournament including teams from various regional qualifiers around the globe.

One such regional qualifier is the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier, the winner of which will get a chance to feature in the Global Qualifier. The Americas Qualifier got underway on September 4. Here is all you need to know about it.

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier: Schedule

The Americas Qualifier is a four-team tournament that started on September 4 and will run till September 11. The four participating teams include Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and the United States of America.

The tournament will consist of 12 matches, all of which will be played at the Woodley Cricket Field in Los Angeles. There will be no knockout stage with the league stage being played in the double round-robin format. The team that remains at the top after the league stage will qualify for the Global Qualifier.
