The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Qualifier will start on April 25 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE): here’s all you need to know about the global qualifier, including fixtures, match timings and venues.

The top six teams – Australia, South Africa, England, India, New Zealand and West Indies – from the 2023 T20 World Cup in South Africa, earned direct qualification for next year’s event, while Bangladesh entered as hosts and Pakistan on the virtue of their position in the ICC Women’s T20I Team Rankings.
The remaining two spots will be contested between 10 teams equally divided into two groups in the Global Qualifier. Group A consists Sri Lanka, Thailand, Scotland, Uganda and the USA, while Group B constitutes Ireland, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, UAE and Vanuatu.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier 2024 begins on 25 April in Abu Dhabi.

The tournament will be played between April 25 and May 7. Each side will play the other teams once in a round-robin format and the top two teams from each group will secure a berth in the semi-finals. The competition is set to be held in two venues: Abu Dhabi’s Tolerance Oval and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
