England's Harry Brook and Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan led the names that made significant moves in the latest ICC men's player rankings update.
Brook was in action for England against Sri Lanka in Manchester, where he scored 56 & 32. These knocks have given him a boost in the rankings, taking him from seventh to fourth.
This came on the back of a three-Test series against West Indies which saw him score 197 runs in four innings. The Yorkshireman has made a blistering start to his Test career, with an average of nearly 60 and strike rate of close to 90 in 16 matches thus far. Kamindu Mendis, who scored 113 for Sri Lanka moved up eight places to No.36, and Jamie Smith moved up 22 spots to No.42.

Another player who received a significant boost among Test batters was Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. He scored 171 & 51 against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. Despite Pakistan's loss, he has gained seven spots in the ranking to move into joint-tenth alongside Australia's Usman Khawaja.
Rizwan is also now closing in on teammate and former captain Babar Azam. Babar tumbled down six spots in the rankings, to ninth, as he registered scores of 0 & 22 against Bangladesh. Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored 191 for Bangladesh in the same Test, also moved up seven places to 17th.
Joe Root remains the top-ranked Test batter.
Among bowlers, Sri Lanka's Asitha Fernando jumped up 10 spots to enter the top 20, at 17th. Shaheen Afridi dropped two spots to No.10. England's Chris Woakes gained four places in the bowling rankings, and one in the all-rounder rankings.
