The shortlisted candidates for the ICC Awards 2024 have been revealed. Here’s the full list of nominations in both men’s and women’s categories.
The ICC Awards 2024 consists of 12 individual awards, with nominees in nine categories being revealed between December 28 and 30. The names have been shortlisted by a special panel of cricket writers and broadcasters on the basis of performance across formats throughout the year.
Other categories which will be celebrated are ICC Men’s and Women’s Associate Cricketers of the Year and the ICC Umpire of the Year.
Jasprit Bumrah, who had a stellar run this year, is the only Indian to receive multiple nominations, having been named as one of the shortlisted candidates for the Sir Garfield Sobers Award for the Men’s Cricketer of the Year and Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year award.
On the other hand, Amelia Kerr's Player of the Tournament performance in New Zealand's victorious Women’s T20I World Cup campaign earned her a nomination for the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year. She is also nominated for the Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award.
