This year’s competition will be played in England during August, with eight franchises again competing for the trophy. Last year Trent Rockets were victorious in the men’s competition after beating Manchester Originals in the final.
The Oval Invincibles were the champions of the women’s tournament, winning their second consecutive title after beating Southern Brave in a repeat of the 2021 final.
Each team has picked the players they wish to retain and which players to release back into the auction from last year’s squads. The 2023 competition will also feature an auction for the women’s competition for the first time.
There are some big name players still available in the draft, with Kieron Pollard, Shakib Al Hasan and Mitchell Starc among the international players available in the top £125,000 bracket.
Lancashire’s Tom Bailey is the only domestic men’s pick in the top price spot, although the likes of Tom Abell and Olly Stone are available in the £40,000 category.
In the women’s draft, New Zealand’s Sophie Devine sits in the top £31,250 bracket alongside India internationals Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues.
Danni Wyatt is the only domestic player at the highest price, but England internationals such as Sophia Dunkley, Kate Cross and Mady Villiers will be available without a reserve price.
