Jos Buttler, Captain of England walks off the field with his team at the innings break during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match between Afghanistan and England at Gaddafi Stadium on February 26, 2025 in Lahore, Pakistan

England, having endured a dismal run in the 2025 Champions Trophy, has a packed schedule for the rest of the year – here's their full list of ODI fixtures for the calendar year.

England’s wretched form in ODI cricket continued as they finished the Champions Trophy 2025 with three back to back defeats, becoming the only team to finish the group stage without a point. They had a poor World Cup defence as well in 2023, finishing seventh out of 10 participants. Since the tournament in India, England have lost 13 out of their 17 matches in the format, recording the worst win-loss ratio (0.307) among Full Members.

In the aftermath of their group-stage exit, Jos Buttler resigned as England’s white-ball captain, suggesting wholesale changes are coming to the squad as they look to turn around their fortunes.

Overall, England will play nine more ODIs in 2025. Here's their ODI fixtures for the rest of the year:

England v West Indies (home)

May-June 2025

After an almost two-month window for IPL, England will play three ODIs against West Indies from May 29 to kick off their white-ball summer. The series is preceded by a historic Test against Zimbabwe, where ECB will pay the visitors a touring fee for a one-off Test match at Trent Bridge from May 22.

England v South Africa (home)

September 2025

Following a five-match Test series against India at home, England will host South Africa for three ODIs. The first will be played on September 2 in Headingley, followed by the second on September 4 at Lord's and the third on September 7 in Southampton.

Ireland v England (away)

September 2025

England will tour Ireland for the first time since 2019 to play a white-ball series. The ODI leg consists of three matches on September 17, 19 and 21, respectively.

This will be their final match before the Ashes, which starts on November 21 at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
