West Indies captain Jason Holder has been suspended by the ICC from the final Test of his side’s series against England for an over-rate violation.
The suspension has been handed down for a second offence within a 12-month period; Holder was fined after his team were slow in completing their overs against Sri Lanka in Barbados in June 2018.
West Indies have already sealed the series, leading 2-0 with a game to play
He has fallen foul of the same rule in the past, missing West Indies’ second Test in New Zealand in 2017, again after a second minor over-rate offence in a 12-month period.
West Indies have already claimed the series, leading 2-0 heading into the final Test, which will be held at Antigua.
