Alex Hales has signed to play in the 2018/19 season of the Bangladesh Premier League.
The England batsman, who has a white-ball-only contract with Nottinghamshire, has joined Rangpur Riders for the tournament.
Hales, along with Eoin Morgan, pulled out of England’s 2016 tour of Bangladesh due to security fears.

He also faces an ECB disciplinary hearing in December for his part in the infamous Bristol incident involving Ben Stokes last year. But any resulting ban may well only involve playing for England.
He is currently out of England’s first-choice ODI batting line-up.
The BPL is set to clash with the Big Bash League in Australia.
