New Zealand’s domestic List A competition, the Ford Trophy, kicks off this week with the first match in Wellington – here’s where you can watch all the matches live and on streaming services.

The round-robin 50-over tournament starts on November 22 with Wellington taking on Canterbury at the Basin Reserve. Matches then continue in the first round before the preliminary final on February 16 2023 which will decide which team joins the automatic qualifier in the final on February 18.

Auckland are the reigning champions, having beaten Central Districts in the final last year thanks to an unbeaten 92 by Mark Chapman and 4-32 from Lockie Ferguson, who was also the joint leading wicket-taker in the competition.

First played in 1971/72, the limited-overs competition has gone through multiple name changes before arriving at its current iteration. Played in a knockout format to begin with, it is now contested between six teams, who all play each other once, with each team playing another three a second time.

Canterbury have won the competition 15 times, with Auckland just behind on 13 title wins.
