Tennis great Roger Federer has nominated Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli to exhibit his home-training skills, after showcasing his own unique drill on social media platform Twitter.
Federer, like several other sports personalities, has spent his lockdown time being active on social media and has found innovative ways to remain in shape and keep his skills sharp.

In a video on Twitter, Federer can be seen practising hitting a tennis ball against a wall in rapid succession. He invited his fans and followers to reply with their own clips, promising tips in return.
In a subsequent tweet, Federer named Kohli, among several other celebrities both within and outside the sporting world, including German professional footballer Toni Kroos, South African comedian and television personality Trevor Noah, and American business magnate Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft Corporation.

“Here’s a helpful solo drill,” Federer wrote on Twitter. “Let’s see what you got. Reply back with a video and I’ll provide some tips. Choose your hat wisely.”
He followed it up with a challenge to his nominees, asking: “How else are you guys training from home?”
Tennis, like all other major sports, has been suspended for the time being, as the world continues to grapple with the disease. The 2020 French Open, scheduled to begin in May, has been pushed back to September, while the Wimbledon Championships won’t take place this year.
