Dani Hazell and Sophie Ecclestone both recorded their best bowling performances in an ODI as England rolled India for 113 and went on to win by eight wickets in the second ODI at Nagpur.
Eighteen-year-old left-arm spinner Ecclestone was player of the match after taking 4-14 with the ball, taking a catch and effecting a run-out.
Hazell was similarly impressive, bowling with control to take 4-32 and remove three of India’s top four.
England were untroubled in their pursuit of 113 and won with 22 overs to spare, Danni Wyatt top-scoring with a 43-ball 47 and Tammy Beaumont (39*) and Heather Knight (26*) not out at the end.
The victory leaves the series poised at 1-1; the two sides will reconvene at the same venue on Thursday for a decider in the three-match series.
