Sahibzada Farhan continued his unreal run of form, smashing 148 off 72 balls in the National T20 Cup semi-final between Peshawar and Abbottabad today (March 26).
Five days back, Farhan had hit the third-highest individual score in men's T20 history in the same tournament. He followed that up with a quick cameo of 26 off 13 in the quarter-final before going big once again.
Batting first, Farhan stitched a 116-run opening partnership with Waqar Ahmed (34 off 27). Maaz Sadaqat (31 off 17) and Muhammad Amir Barki (20 off five) made useful contributions as Peshawar finished on 243-3, 148 of those coming off Farhan's bat.

What records did Sahibzada Farhan break with his massive ton?
With his National T20 Cup semi-final hundred, Farhan has become the first cricketer ever to make two 130-plus scores in a single T20 competition. If the cut-off is reduced to 125, Farhan gets joined by Chris Gayle on the list, who scored 126* and 146* five days apart in the 2017-18 Bangladesh Premier League.
Farhan now has three centuries in his last six innings, all coming in this tournament. He is just the fifth player to make three or more hundreds in a T20 tournament. Jos Buttler and Virat Kohli are the only ones to have made four. Kohli, Buttler, and the two others on this list batted at least 12 times though, as compared to Farhan's six.

The 30-year-old has aggregated 588 runs in the 2025 National T20 Cup, the highest by any batter in a season of the tournament, breaking his own record of 492 runs scored in the previous season.
Farhan also occupies the top two spots in terms of most sixes hit in a single edition of the National T20 Cup, having hit 39 this season already.

What is Farhan's T20I record?
Farhan has played nine T20Is for Pakistan, the most recent of those coming in December last year. He made his T20I debut in 2018 but was dropped after just three games. He made a comeback last year, but couldn't sustain his place in the team. From nine games, Farhan averages just 9.5 at a strike rate of 95.5.
He doesn't have PSL contract either for this season, despite doing well for Lahore Qalandars last year for whom he scored 266 runs at 38 and a strike rate of 133.
