Which sides will participate in Women's DPL 2024?
The maiden season of the women's version of the Delhi Premier League will see a total of seven matches being played. The top four bidders in the men's team auction secured rights for the women's franchises.
The sides are East Delhi Riders, Central Delhi Queens, North Delhi Strikers and South Delhi Superstars.

Shweta Sehrawat and Priya Punia among top buys
Batter Shweta Sehrawat, Indian vice-captain at the 2023 Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, was one of the notable buys in the league. She was snapped up by South Delhi Superstars, while Priya Punia, who returned in ODIs against Bangladesh earlier this year, will feature for East Delhi Riders.
Wicketkeeper Laxmi Yadav, who donned the UP Warriorz jersey in the Women's Premier League, will play for Central Delhi Queens. Among other top picks, pacer Soni Yadav and batter Ayushi Soni have been signed by North Delhi Strikers.
