The Cricket Supporters’ Association have launched a survey exclusively for cricket fans across the United Kingdom in an effort to have their voices heard on a wide range of issues surrounding the sport.

The objective of the survey is to bring together all cricket fans, across age groups spanning the length and breadth of England and Wales, under one umbrella. Those joining the association can speak of issues relevant to the game, including topics of interest such as The Hundred, free-to-air TV, the price of tickets, and the governance of the game.
The Association – a non-profit organisation that can be joined by cricket fans free of charge – has a stated goal of making the sport more inclusive. It was co-founded by George Dobell, the ESPNCricinfo correspondent, and Becky Fairlie-Clarke, who owns the sport agency Magic Torch PR.

“The Cricket Supporters’ Association is born out of a love of the game and a belief that fans should be represented at the highest level,” said Fairlie-Clarke. “We understand the pressures facing the game, and believe that fans can offer an important contribution to the game’s governance.

“Our latest survey is the most comprehensive yet and comes at such an important time for cricket. With the ICC World Cup win, a fantastic Test match at Headingley, cricket is on the front pages, and we believe fans can play an important part in keeping that way.
“We want to work with the stakeholders within the game, and give them a thorough independent understanding of what cricket fans are thinking about all aspects of cricket.”
