The Covid-19 pandemic has cancelled all live sport, delayed the start of the club cricket season, and even curtailed winter nets, but cricket fans are too resourceful to let that stand in their way.
With years of practice whiling away rain delays, cricket lovers are better placed than most to survive weeks on end cooped up indoors, and the array of inventiveness shown in continuing to put bat on ball in one form or another shows no signs of slowing.
