The 2024 Champions One-Day Cup, one of the three new competitions introduced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to bridge the gap between domestic and international cricket, will start on September 12. Here’s the schedule, including match timings and venues.
Champions One-Day Cup 2024: Which teams are participating?
The inaugural edition of the Champions One-Day Cup consists of Pakistan's top 150 cricketers. The teams gunning for the title are the Markhors, Panthers, Stallions, Lions, and Dolphins.
Champions One-Day Cup 2024: What's the format?
The league matches of the 50-over competition will be played between September 12 and 22 followed by the Qualifier on September 24, Eliminator 1 on September 25 and Eliminator 2 on September 27. The final will be played on September 29.
While the winners of the Qualifier, to be played between the top two sides, will head to the final, the losers will get another shot in Eliminator 2, against the victorious side from Eliminator 1.
All matches will begin at 3 pm local time except the fixture between Lions and Panthers on September 16 and between Dolphins and Markhors on September 18, which will both start at 9:30 am local time.
