The semi-finals of the Buchi Babu Tournament 2024 began on September 2. Here is where you can watch live streaming of the games.
One of India’s oldest cricket tournaments, the Buchi Babu Memorial Tournament, got its name from Mothavarapu Venkata Mahipathi Naidu, popularly known as Buchi Babu Naidu. He was behind introducing cricket to the Madras residency during the country’s colonial rule, and is sometimes referred to as the Father of Madras Cricket.
Twelve teams divided into four groups played 12 matches against each other in a round-robin format. One team from each group qualified for the semi-finals. The top two sides will play in the final between September 8 and 11.

Group A winners Hyderabad beat Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand heavily to qualify, while Group B toppers TNCA President's XI drew against Railways and defeated Gujarat comprehensively to seal a top-four berth. The match will be played at Tirunelveli.

The other semi-final will be played at Natham. Group C winners TNCA XI drew against Haryana and then defeated Mumbai heavily in the next match, while Group D's top side Chhattisgarh began with a draw against Jammu and Kashmir followed by a win eight-wicket win against Baroda to seal the top-four berth.
