Jharkhand v Hyderabad: Day 3 round-up

Jharkhand were reeling at 24-3 at stumps on the second day after conceding a 115-run first-innings lead against Hyderabad at Tirunelveli. Day three did not go any better for them, as they lost Rahul Prasad early. Pankaj Kumar and Kumar Suraj then put on 73 for the fifth wicket, but that was as good as it got for them.

The last five wickets fell for just 36 runs, as they were bowled out for 140. Hyderabad then knocked off their 26 required runs in just 3.2 overs to secure a nine-wicket win.

Ishan Kishan was also spotted bowling two overs in Hyderabad's innings. Before the game, Kishan had bowled just five overs in first-class cricket. He conceded five runs.

TNCA President’s XI v Railways: Day 3 round-up

At Salem, the TNCA President’s XI rode on Mohamed Ali’s 182 to amass 459 as Ayan Choudhary claimed 5-132. Railways finished the second day on 185-2.

On day three, they carried on comfortably until Pratham Singh was dismissed with the score reading 282. Thereafter, the day belonged to the bowlers who shot Railways out for 355 to secure a 104-run lead. TNCA President's XI's batters then saw out the rest of the day to score 133-2, registering a 237-run lead.

TNCA XI v Haryana: Day 3 round-up

The TNCA XI made 393. Baba Indrajith got 167 of these runs, but S Lokeshwar was unfortunate to be dismissed for 99. In response, Haryana finished the second day on 182-6.

Dheeru Singh and Jayant Yadav remained firm at the start of day three, but both were dismissed by TNCA XI skipper R Sai Kishore who took 7-76, helping his side to a 175-run lead. Batting for the second time, TNCA XI declared at 177-5 to set Haryana 353 for victory in just over one day's play.

They then managed to pick up a couple of wickets on day three, reducing Haryana to 16-2 in 13 overs.

Jammu and Kashmir v Baroda: Day 3 round-up

Jammu and Kashmir folded for 114 at Dindigul against Baroda, up against Baroda's total of 255 in the first innings. Mahesh Pithiya claimed 3-55 and Ninad Rathwa 6-39. That gave Baroda a 141-run lead, and they put up 254 in their second innings. J&K were 14-0 chasing 396 at stumps on day two.

On day three, play moved quickly as Shubham Khajuria, Shubham Pundir and Abdul Samad were all dismissed within eight overs of each other. The Baroda bowlers continued to chip away, striking at regular intervals to eventually bowl Jammu and Kashmir out for 108 and secure a massive 287-run win.
