The 2024 Buchi Babu Trophy went underway with four simultaneous matches on August 15. The 12 teams have been divided into four groups. After they play each other in a round-robin format, one team from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, which will be followed by the final.

Watch TNCA XI vs Mumbai live
TNCA XI and Mumbai will play each other in the final match of Group C. Both these sides drew with Haryana, the other team in the group. TNCA XI took the first-innings lead in their match-up, while Mumbai did not. There is a great deal of excitement around this match, with India stars Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer set to turn out for Mumbai.

Baroda beat Jammu & Kashmir in their first match, while Chhattisgarh drew with them. The result of this match in Dindigul will decide the final standings in the group.
Watch Madhya Pradesh vs Hyderabad live
Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad will face off in Tirunelveli. Each side has played one match so far, with Hyderabad beating Jharkhand while Madhya Pradesh lost to the same team. A win for Madhya Pradesh will put all three teams in the group level on six points.
This match has concluded. Hyderabad won by an innings and 29 runs.

TNCA President's XI put up a good show in their previous match, but could only draw with Railways. Gujarat lost their opening match to Railways. A win for TNCA President's XI will take them to the top of the table. Lose, and they will come third.
