Hyderabad vs TNCA Presidents XI: Day 1 round-up

Hyderabad won the toss and chose to bat first against TNCA Presidents XI, led by Siddharth M. The decision by Hyderabad skipper Rahul Singh seemed to have backfired initially as the team lost three quick wickets, but a fourth-wicket stand between Nitesh Kannala and Hima Teja ensured stability.

Kannala was dismissed for a counter-attacking 59 in 77 balls, while Teja held one end up and weathered his way to an unbeaten 91 off 184 deliveries. There was another mini-collapse for Hyderabad, who fell from 114-3 to 126-6, which soon became 175-7 but a 70-ball 58 from No.9 batter CV Milind ensured Hyderabad put up another resistance. They were eventually bowled out for 313.

For TNCA Presidents XI, each of the five bowlers used picked two wickets each, including Siddarth M.

Chhattisgarh vs TNCA XI: Day 1 round-up

Chhattisgarh won the toss in their semi-final as well. Shashank Chandrakar was dismissed early by Ajith Ram S but Anuj Tiwari and opener Ayush Pandey made 145 runs for the second wicket, with both batters making their respective fifties. However, they were unable to convert their knocks. Tiwari fell for 93 while Pandey made 82. Skipper Amandeep Khare and Prateek Yadav took Chattisgarh towards safety as no more wickets fell.

Ajith Ram S was the pick of the bowlers, picking up 2-65 in 26 overs.
