Ben Stokes is set to swap bat and ball for screeching rubber, with the all-rounder set to represent Red Bull Racing in a virtual F1 Grand Prix, competing against some of the best drivers in the world.
As with all sports, Formula 1 has been affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and in lieu of actual action the organisation are staging an esports event, featuring driving stars as well as athletes from other sports.
Stokes, who is sponsored by Red Bull, will be competing alongside Red Bull Racing driver Alex Albion, and against several other drivers, with some names yet to be announced. He has taken to Twitter to share how his preparations have been going, with cover driving seemingly coming more naturally than car driving.
