BBC Test Match Special have announced that they will be replaying their commentary of last year’s Headingley Ashes Test, headlined by Ben Stokes’ fourth-innings heroics, in full.
The game was an instant classic, with Stokes’ knock rated as one of the best in Test history. After being bowled out for 67, England completed a national record-chase on the fourth day, with Stokes and Jack Leach adding an unbroken 76 for the final wicket in one of cricket’s most dramatic finishes.
